CNO's recruiters review the qualifications and experiences of all applicants for a posted position.

If you have the right experience and required skills, a recruiter may call you to ask for more information (such as, professional experience, technical knowledge, education and training, and salary expectations).

Find a quiet place (free of interruptions and distractions) where you can speak freely.

Interview

If selected for an interview, a recruiter will work with you to coordinate on-site interview(s) with the hiring team. In addition to an interview with the hiring manager, you may interview with associates who are closely aligned to the role for which you're interviewing. It isn't uncommon for candidates to go through multiple rounds of interviews.

We expect to discover a lot about you, and you'll learn about us, too!

Even if you aren't selected, your profile and resume will remain active in the CNO applicant tracking system.

Ask good questions during the interview. When you demonstrate natural curiosity through thoughtful questions we see that you have done your research, and we gain insight into what matters most to you.

Offer

We're committed to hiring the best talent. If you're selected, a recruiter will make a formal offer, which will include your starting salary, benefits information, and other important information. Every offer is contingent upon the outcome of a drug test, and educational, employment, and criminal background checks.

Every prospective candidate has a wish list. As you start the process, consider what's important to you. Knowing this on the front-end will help guide you through your decision process.

Orientation

Onboarding
After you've accepted an offer, a recruiter will work closely with you to ensure that you transition smoothly from candidate to CNO associate. You'll start by completing electronic paperwork through our online portal.

New Hire Orientation
We'll welcome you on your first day with our new hire orientation experience. You'll receive more education about who we are as an organization and information that helps you get up to speed quickly in your new role.

You’ll receive a welcome letter that provides more information about where to go and when to arrive on your first day.

Welcome to CNO!

You're on your way to a rewarding career at CNO. We hired you for a specific role, but we’re excited about your potential for growth and valuable contributions.

You own your career from day one.
