Executive Profile

Joel Koehneman was named chief accounting officer for CNO Financial Group in January 2025.

Prior to joining CNO, Koehneman was a finance director at CDW Corporation. He also spent 16 years in the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he held numerous leadership positions, including serving as lead director on life insurance company audits.

Koehneman earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and a master’s degree in accounting science from the University of Illinois, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
